Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information

Our services are designed to promote your profile and provide other profiles of interest according to the information and preferences you give us according to our terms and conditions. This entails the sharing of such information with our third party service providers, contractors and other users of the service.

With other users: You share information with other users when you voluntarily disclose information on the service (including your public profile). You should be aware and comfortable with the fact that the content you share is publicly viewable since neither you nor we can control what others do with your information once you share it.

With our third party service providers and contractors: We use certain third parties to operate our services who are involved with various tasks including Customer Support, Daily Operations, Marketing and Transaction Processing. We also share some information with other partners who advertise our services. All our service providers and contractors fall under confidentiality agreements and obligations.

We may suspend your use of all or part of the services without notice if we suspect or detect any breach of security. If you believe that your account or information is no longer secure, please notify us immediately here.

Transfers Outside the EU

Sharing of information laid out in Sharing and Disclosing your Personal Information may sometimes involve processing which involves cross-border data transfers, for instance to the United States of America to companies covered by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and to Switzerland and other jurisdictions covered by an adequacy decision published by the European Commission.

Consequences of Not Providing Your Data

You are not obligated to provide your personal information to AdMirror Limited, however, as this information is required for us to be able to provide you with our services, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions we will not be able to offer our services without it.

As noted in the ‘How We Use Your Personal Data’ section of this notice, we occasionally process your personal information under the legitimate interests’ legal basis. Where this is the case, we have carried out a thorough Legitimate Interests’ Assessment (LIA) to ensure that we have weighed your interests and any risk posed to you against our own interests, ensuring that they are proportionate and appropriate.

How Long We Keep Your Data

AdMirror Limited only ever retains personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations.

Where you decide to delete your profile, all personal data which AdMirror Limited holds in relation to you will be deleted.

We keep your personal information only as long as you keep your profile with us and as permitted by applicable law.

In certain cases we keep certain personal information for a longer period for the following purposes: We must keep it to evidence our compliance with applicable law (for instance, records of consents to our Terms, Privacy Policy and other similar consents are kept for five years);

There is an outstanding issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved; or

The information must be kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users' safety and security. For example, information may need to be kept to prevent a user who was banned for unsafe behavior or security incidents from opening a new account.

Special Categories Data

Owing to the products, services or treatments that we offer, AdMirror Limited sometimes needs to process sensitive personal information (known as special category data) about you, to provide the services which you have requested namely, that of providing a virtual space within which the individual may create an online persona with his/her personal data and to meet profiles.

Where we collect such information, we will only request and process the minimum necessary for the specified purpose and identify a compliant legal basis for doing so.
